Past & Present Towing & Recovery, Inc. is a Laurel, MD based local towing company seeking applicants for several open positions. We are always interested in hearing from safe, responsible and qualified tow truck operators who live in or are willing to relocate to the Laurel, MD area. We are hiring a full-time Flatbed Tow Truck Operator. Details are:

• Fixed work schedule, 6 days per week
• 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of continuous employment
• Uniforms or uniform allowance
• Life insurance ($10,000 term policy)
• Health insurance (employee paid)
• AFLAC (employee paid)
• Commission-based pay with a guaranteed minimum
• We will train right individual for flatbed drivers if you are mechanically inclined

IMPORTANT: Candidates must be experienced either in the towing industry or certified automobile mechanical repair, and be able to pass a Prince George's County Police background check.

We are currently seeking a PART-TIME WEEKEND dispatcher, with a potential for FULL-TIME opportunity. Duties include:

• Answering telephones quickly and professionally
• Accepting and entering tow calls into Towbook dispatch system
• Dispatching calls to drivers
• Greeting customers
• Releasing vehicles from tow lot
• Light office cleaning
• Must be willing to work both Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am – 6 pm, along with some holidays.

IMPORTANT: Candidate MUST be able to pass a Prince George's County Police background check

The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of the DC Metro area so that calls can be dispatched in the most efficient manner possible, along with general office experience, and be a team player.
