This incredible event gathered generous hearts to raise funds and celebrate VFC’s mission to empower families through affordable car ownership. The evening sparkled with energy, fine cocktails, and an inspiring showcase of custom cars that filled the venue with the spirit of our automotive community. As a towing and roadside assistance service provider, we were honored to be a sponsor of this fundraiser.
How VFC Programs Transform Lives
Every penny raised at the gala directly supports VFC’s programs. All of which help make car ownership attainable for low-income families across Maryland. Many of us know the freedom and opportunities a reliable vehicle brings. VFC‘s programs, from Full Circle Training to their VR Training Program, focus on spreading that same freedom of movement. Their Full Circle Service Center provides job training and also maintains donated vehicles at affordable rates. Two birds with one stone! Through partnerships with service providers like our Laurel towing service, VFC programs continue making a real difference for people striving to build a stable future.
A Closer Look at Vehicles for Change’s Impact
When we look at VFC’s unique approach to donated vehicles, it’s clear why so many support this mission. Unlike other programs that send donated cars to auction for revenue, VFC repairs and refurbishes each qualifying vehicle. By providing safe, affordable cars to those in need, they increase access to essential life services. Employment, education, health care, and much more, all come within reach. Most of VFC’s car recipients report life-changing outcomes, including improved job access and financial stability, often boosting their annual income by several thousand dollars within the first year.
Supporting the Automotive Workforce of Tomorrow
VFC also drives change in another critical way: by helping to prepare the next generation of automotive professionals. Through their Full Circle Training program, men and women gain the skills and experience to secure jobs in the industry as mechanics, technicians, and auto service providers. Graduates often land immediate employment, demonstrating the power of VFC’s mission to offer both practical support and professional opportunity. The program benefits everyone involved, creating a skilled workforce while generating revenue reinvested directly into VFC’s services.
